Catskill Harvest’s Pie-Of-July: A Chance to Win a $100 Catskill Harvest Gift Certificate
Catskill Harvest is holding the Pie-Of-July contest where you could win a $100 Catskill Harvest gift certificate AND they will be donating 50% of the Pie-of-July profits to CACHE (Sullivan County Community Action Commission to Help the Economy)!!
Here are the details from Catskill Harvest:
Catskill Harvest is a local favorite for homemade pies. Whether you like Apple Walnut or lean toward Mixed Berry, pie is part of our heritage. Pie has always been on the menu, and it always will be.
As we roll out a new specialty line of sandwiches and baked goods, we want to pay homage to our Catskill Harvest roots with Pie-of-July, a community program that invites you to share your love for the All American Pie and give back to CACHE (Sullivan County Community Action Commission to Help the Economy).
Tell Us About Your Favorite Pie
When it comes to pie, everyone has a favorite, and we want you to tell us about it by answering two simple questions.
1. What kind of pie would you like to see on the Catskill Harvest menu? Use your imagination, and consider your fondest memories of pie.
2. Tell us why this pie means something to you.
That’s it. The Catskill Harvest Kitchen team will read all entries and select one person whose Pie-of-July story gives us that fuzzy, feel-good feeling that comes only after savoring a favorite slice of pie.
The Pie-of-July 2011 winner will receive a $100 Catskill Harvest gift certificate.
Make A Difference in Sullivan County
During the entire month of July (July 1-31), Catskill Harvest will actively bake, promote and sell the 2011 Pie-of-July. More importantly, we’ll donate 50% of all Pie-of-July profits to CACHE (Sullivan County Community Action Commission to Help the Economy).
CACHE is a Liberty, New York-based non-profit organization that addresses the emergency needs of households and individuals. CACHE promotes a self-based concept that focuses on empowerment through accessing resources within the family structure and the community. CACHE operates several programs, including a local Food Bank, which will receive the bulk of the Pie-of-July proceeds.
The Deadline
We’ll accept Pie-of-July entries until May 31, 2011, and we’ll inform the winner before June 15, 2011.
