Youth Snowmobile Safety Class at Cornell Cooperative Extension
On Sunday, November 6th Sullivan County Cornell Cooperative Extension will be holding a Snowmobile Safety class for children ages 10-17. New York State Law requires that children ages 10 – 17 earn a snowmobile safe operator’s certificate to operate a snowmobile independently. This certificate must be with the child at all times when operating a snowmobile without the supervision of an adult.
To earn this certificate and gain valuable knowledge about the safe operation of motorized vehicles, call Cindy to register at 292-6180. This class is limited to 25 registrants, ages 10 to 17, so please register early to ensure a spot! A parent or guardian must sign a parental consent form for youth to participate. Each participant is expected to bring a bag lunch and a pencil. There is no charge for this educational program.
The class runs from 8:30AM to 4:00PM on Sunday, November 6th.
