Sullivan County International Pageant Looking For Contestants

The Sullivan County International Pageant is holding their annual meeting to sign up to become a contestant. From SCIP:

Sunday January 15th at 2:00 to 2:45 at the Liberty Fitness Center in Liberty. The SCIP is far from a beauty contest, it encourages ladies of ages 5 -56 to represent Sullivan County, with a strong ethical & moral standard. The will be judged on personality mainly , how the answer the on stage question & confidence.

The Pageant will be held at the villa Roma Saturday April 7th from 4-8 & we will continue to meet every other Sunday to rehearse the opening number, practice walking & public speaking at the Liberty Fitness Center in Liberty NY. The Teen , Miss & Mrs, if crowned win paid entry into the NY International which is also at the Villa Roma annually.

We are holding a DRESS EXCHANGE beginning on January 15th at Liberty Fitness Center where the SCIP will accept donations of dresses/gowns & business attire for contestants to use in the pageant. The current Mrs. SC INTL came up with the idea & will be managing it.(Elizabeth Brown) We are offering free hair & makeup the day of the pageant done by the SC Boces students., free photogenic photo taken by A.M. La Hanko Photography, 2 free admissions tickets & a shirt for the contestants.

The cost to become a contestant is 75.00 …Deadline is Sunday January 29th 2:00-2: 45
We are looking for Sponsors, there are business ads that can be purchased or simply an any amount donation. Portions of proceeds will be going to ST JUDES CANCER RESERCH/HOSPITAL.
